Against all odds she became one of America's most beloved TV personalities. She seems so sweet but actually has shockingly little regard for her pets. She adopted a kitten from an LA animal rescue organization, but returned it a few days later, explaining that it "wasn't cute enough." Kittens shouldn't be declawed, you have to wait until they're a certain age until a veterinarian will declaw them. That's why the animal rescue people took the kitten back.
I don't care who it was. But to the pinheads who can't understand why declawing is wrong: Declawing is the equivalent of having your fingertips amputated. A responsible pet owner can keep their cat from destroying the furniture without subjecting the cat to brutal, unnecessary maiming. It's the lazy, irresponsible and cruel way to protect your furniture. Don't want to train your pet? Don't get one.
Okay, serious subject. One should NEVER declaw a "little tigger".
